Case Studies
What message does your current headshot send about you?
Are you guilty of any of the following: outdated photo, improper body language, poor lighting, cropping from group photos, selfies?
Outdated photo
Even if you’ve had a professional headshot taken in the past, it may be time for a new one. Made a change to your hairstyle, subtracted facial hair or added glasses lately?
You want people to recognize you. It’s like Guess Who, the game not the rock band.
Unprofessional photo
If you gave a friend your cell phone and said, “Hey, take my headshot,” it may be time for a new one. Poor lighting doesn’t do anyone any favors, and did you consider body language?
Body language is super important when making a first impression. If you’ve cropped yourself out of a photo with someone else, your body language and expression is probably not saying, “I’m a confident and professional business person.”
